Local Cockatoo clubs are set for the bright lights at Mountain Road Recreation Reservethanks to upgraded oval lighting backed by the Victorian Government.
Member for Monbulk Daniela De Martino today joined members from the Gembrook Cockatoo Football Netball Club to officially launch the new lights, made possible by a 43 million in over 590 country football and netball infrastructure projects with a total project value of more than 2.4 billion the government has invested in community sport and active recreation infrastructure since 2014.
Daniela De Martino MP acknowledged the Cardinia Shire Council for its more than $120,000 contribution and commitment to delivering the project.
